Strengthening the Relationship Between High Schools and Universities

Keeping Students at the Center

A custom cookie cannot replace a genuine relationship but it can help begin a conversation, encourage engagement or express appreciation in a memorable way. Whether used for counselor outreach, college fairs, campus visits, accepted-student celebrations or family communications, custom cookies can turn an ordinary touchpoint into a meaningful experience.

When high schools and universities work together, students benefit. And when every interaction keeps the student’s needs and interests at the center, we help them take their next step with greater clarity and confidence.

If your admissions or university-relations team is looking for a thoughtful way to connect with high-school counselors, students or families, let’s start a conversation.

Choosing a college is one of the most important decisions a student will make and the best choice is different for every student.

The right university should align with a student’s academic goals, interests, values, financial considerations and vision for the future. Helping students find that fit requires a strong relationship between high-school counselors and university admissions teams.

Counselors know their students’ strengths, challenges and aspirations. University professionals can provide insight into academic programs, campus culture, financial aid and student support. When these two groups communicate openly, students receive better guidance and can make more informed, confident decisions.

Thoughtful Touchpoints Build Stronger Relationships

Relationships are not built through one college fair, campus visit or email. They grow through consistent, meaningful interactions.

Universities can strengthen their relationships with high-school counselors by sharing helpful information, creating opportunities for conversation and showing appreciation for the important role counselors play in the college-selection process.

Sometimes, a thoughtful gesture can help open that door.

The photo features custom gift boxes Edible Impressions prepared on behalf of Marquette University for delivery to high-school counselors nationwide. Each package paired Marquette’s Counselor Updates information with university-branded cookies featuring the MU logo and Golden Eagle mascot.

The cookies added warmth and personality to an important university communication. They gave recipients a reason to pause, open the package and engage with the information inside. More importantly, the gift communicated a simple message: We appreciate your partnership and the work you do for students.

Our Marquette Connection

Our connection to Marquette University spans more than two decades and two generations.

Edible Impressions Founder Annette Conrad worked at Marquette for more than 24 years, from 1994 to 2018. Based in the student union, she experienced firsthand the university’s mission, values and commitment to developing the whole person.

Annette’s son, Devin Conrad, Business Development Manager, is also a proud Marquette graduate from the Class of 2018. These experiences continue to shape how we approach our work. We believe thoughtful details help people feel seen, valued and connected.

Today, Edible Impressions is proud to be a preferred Marquette University vendor, producing custom cookies and large-volume gift-box programs for delivery across campus and nationwide.
